At Privée Diamonds Direct we care about the planet and its people – it’s part of who we are.
We aspire to transcend and go beyond the jewelry industry standard and the ‘Kimberly Process’ definition, offering diamonds that have been carefully handpicked from an elite group of global cutters that follow our ethical and environmental responsible protocol.
In 2009, my dad was one of the pioneers to promote ethical sourcing practices, by branding diamond mined in Canada and Botswana where ownership and origin could be tracked. He complimented this with supporting global initiatives that empower, equipped, and employed local mining communities.
Over the last decade, he has been collaborating with governments, NGOs, diamond cutters, and diamond laboratories, like Botswana, Canada, Israel, and the Diamond Empowerment Fund, to develop leading sustainable diamonds brands for the jewelry retail industry in the US.
My partners at Oropaz Trading led by my dad, have been a proud member of the Responsible Jewelry Council, a leading ethical standard organization within the jewelry industry, as well as the Diamond Council of America, and the Jeweler Board of Trade.
Reflecting our deep commitment to environmental protection, Privée strives to use 100% recycled precious metals to minimize the impacts of metal mining. Precious metals can be recycled repeatedly without compromising their quality or beauty to make sustainable jewelry.
We also offer Lab Grown diamonds, featuring top-quality and exceptional value, for those seeking an alternative to naturally sourced diamonds.
